"We had the good fortune of connecting with Brianna Gardocki and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brianna, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?

It might sound corny, but it was my destiny. Although, it did take me years to realize that art could be my career! I had no idea what I wanted to do in college and tried a few different career options, but none felt right. I started creating art at a young age, I always enjoyed it. Growing up, I took AP Art in high school and knew I had artistic talent. It wasn’t until I graduated from UGA and took a huge risk (moving across the country to Albuquerque, NM) that I realized I could make art my career and shouldn’t be afraid to do that. I registered my business and started vending at pop-up events with prints of my art. A few years later, I began creating murals. Creating a piece of public art that brightens someone’s day when they pass by is extremely fulfilling! I’m so excited to see what the future holds for my art career now that I am back in my hometown of Atlanta, GA!"
